FAQ
Does Wrappy contain pesticides like all wraps made in Asia?
Almost undetectable amounts may be found. Our wax comes from natural bee farming in central Africa where they do not use the harsh pesticides used in Asia.
Wrappy does not have color motives and designs, why?
because colors, even GOTS colors, are not suitable for food contact. Unlike most, we have tested in a lab for EU-compliance, most only do self-declarations
Wrappy wraps feel less greasy than most others, why?
Wrappy does not use mineral oils and other undesirable ingredients
Will a Wrappy wrap really last for 1 year?
with proper care, it will even last longer than that. If used only for bread, it may last you up to 3-4 years. It is a huge plastic saver and keeps your food fresher.
Where is Wrappy made?
Wrappy is made in North Europe under strict control and with premium ingredients, to ensure the quality remains the best in the market
Why can it not be used for raw meat?
there is a risk of contamination from parasites and bacteria in raw meat
Can I pack my smoked salmon in Wrappy?
Oily fish should be avoided. The oil dissolves the beeswax. Beside, we encourage to not eat farmed salmon as it pollutes the sea and wild salmon
Why is Wrappy not so good for lemon, lime and pineapple?
the natural acids in those fruits dissolve the beeswax on the wraps
